Zulu Challenge outdoor event setup

Privacy Policy

How personal information is handled on zuluchallenge.com—based on the forms, ticket links and tracking that actually exist on this site.

About this policy

This page explains how personal information is handled on zuluchallenge.com, based on how the site actually works today. It expands the shorter notice previously published at /privacy/.

Questions about privacy: email info@zuluchallenge.com or use Contact.

What information is collected

City notification requests

The notify flow on Contact asks for your email and a city. It opens your email app with a message to info@zuluchallenge.com so you can ask to be notified when that city announces details.

Sponsor inquiries

The sponsor form can collect business name, email, sponsorship level, an optional message, and an optional marketing checkbox. Submissions are handled by the site contact form endpoint and are sent to the published contact email (info@zuluchallenge.com).

Vendor and volunteer inquiries

Vendor and volunteer paths use email inquiries to info@zuluchallenge.com (including generated mailto messages from the site). What you include in those emails is what the team receives.

Ticket and registration data

Ticket buttons leave zuluchallenge.com and finish checkout on Eventbrite. Eventbrite handles those orders and the personal information you enter there under Eventbrite own terms and privacy practices.

Why information is used

Verified uses on this site include: responding to notification requests, sponsor/vendor/volunteer inquiries, and helping people find registration links for Adults, Kids and K9 events. Marketing emails are only referenced where a form explicitly asks for that option.

Cookies, pixels and analytics

Pages on this site include Meta (Facebook) Pixel code used for page-view tracking. The homepage can also load analytics from manus-analytics.com (Umami). Some pages fire ticket or sponsor click events when those buttons are used, if the related tracking function is available.

This policy does not invent a complete cookie inventory or retention schedule beyond what is visible in the published website files. Browser settings and platform tools control many third-party cookies.

Third-party services

  • Eventbrite for ticket checkout and registration orders.
  • Meta Pixel advertising/analytics pixel present in site pages.
  • Manus analytics (Umami) loaded from the homepage script when analytics starts.
  • Email messages to info@zuluchallenge.com for inquiries and notifications.

Retention and protection

The published privacy notice states that a note of the time, email, city and consent wording can be kept with a notification message so the team can see that you asked to be emailed, and that you can unsubscribe by writing to the same address.

This page does not claim specific encryption, deletion timelines or security certifications that are not documented in the master project files.
