Person and dog · Harness required
K9
A course for a person and a dog. Zulu describes it as Canada's only K9 obstacle event.
What it is
The K9 course is an entry for a person and a dog. A harness is required for the dog. The price is $95, the same as the adult course. It is a different entry from the kids course.
Zulu describes the K9 course as Canada's only K9 obstacle event. That is the published description. It is not a claim about every obstacle sport in the country beyond that wording.
Rules
The dog's owner is responsible for the dog, including the required harness. Breed limits, age limits, vaccine papers, and leash rules beyond the harness are not published. [REPLACE] Details coming soon.
Distance and obstacle count are published for adults (5 km, 24 obstacles) and distance is published for kids (2 to 4 km). A separate distance for the K9 course is not published. [REPLACE] Details coming soon.
Where it runs
Kamloops has named K9 for Saturday, May 8, 2027 at Westsyde Centennial Park. Other dated cities still show Categories: TBA. Thunder Bay includes lake-side obstacles, and a K9 entry there is not confirmed until that city's categories line changes.
