Draft: review with a legal professional before publishing.

This notice describes how Zulu Challenge handles personal information on zuluchallenge.com. It is written with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) in mind. It is a draft, not a finished legal policy.

Who we are

Zulu Challenge is the organization responsible for this website. Contact zuluchallenge@gmail.com.

What this site collects

The contact form does not store messages on this website. It opens your email program and sends the name, email address, subject, and message you typed to zuluchallenge@gmail.com. We use that email to reply. We do not sell that information.

Registration and payment happen on Eventbrite, or later on Bloom if ticketing moves. Those companies have their own privacy notices. This site does not receive your card number.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not load a third-party analytics script and does not set its own tracking cookies. The host may keep ordinary server logs, which can include an IP address, the page requested, and the time. [REPLACE] Confirm the host's log retention before publishing.

Access and correction

You can ask what personal information we hold from your emails, and you can ask us to correct it, by writing to zuluchallenge@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

A guardian registers a child. We do not ask children to send personal information through this website on their own.
