Preparation

When event registration closes and we have the final participant list, we will send you via the email address you used to register our full participants' information pack, event waiver and confirmed wave start times. For participants safety we may have had to move your start time to balance numbers in each wave start. We will always keep teams together and aim to move you not more than one wave later than you selected when you registered. We ask each participant to print off, read, sign and bring their event waiver to registration on event day.
We recommend that you arrive at the event location at least 1 hour before your due wave start time. We are military men so start times will be punctual. You will need time to park, get to registration, get body marked, do the warm up in the event village, support the Survivors who started before you across the finish, soak up the atmosphere and get totally psyched up for your challenge.
It's going to be fun, right? So why not have a team uniform or fancy dress theme. But please remember it's Great Britain, which could mean inclement weather!! Tight footwear is a must or once you enter the mud you won't see them again. In most cases, the barriers are made of natural materials and can be rough, you will be crawling through mud and mire, wading through rivers and we plan a liberal sprinkling of barbed wire around the course, so be prepared! Some people like to wear gloves but ultimately it is a matter of choice. We think army uniform, team uniforms and fancy dress add to the fun of the event. Knock yourself out and be creative! Clothing should be fast drying as you're going to get wet. No footwear with spikes or studs are allowed. We would recommend you to wear something you are happy not to need in the future!
A full change of warm clothes along with your running gear and towel as well as your sense of fun and adventure. There will be food outlets and a bar onsite but there is no access to a cash point, so don't forget to bring enough cash with you.
Yes, we will be offering a secure bag storage facility. We will also offer a car keys, wallet, purse and ID secure storage facility.
